Born in Melbourne, Ashley Garvey grew up in a city with the love of food. But it wasn’t until he left school at the age of 15 to work in a professional kitchen that he developed a passion for cooking.
Combining years of expertise, career on Michelin Starred restaurants and passion in cooking, chef Ashley Garvey brings innovative ideas to the table by incorporating modern Asian flavor using the finest local ingredients that can be found around the island.

There was a domestic disturbance next to our room one night that kept us up all night as it was traumatizing to listen to. Staff responsed quickly however the disturbance carried on. The bed was not the most comfortable so sleeping was not an A+. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful, the facilities, pool and the staff was amazing!!! Trusty 5 star service from the staff. The beach was gorgeous! The restaurants were great and breakfast at starfish blue was the best! Happy hour at the woo bar & ice bar was awesome as well!
